Plastisol is a low toxicity material and can be re-melted and re-poured multiple times. Plastisol can be easily melted in a Pyrex glass container in a standard microwave over. Once poured lures harden in a matter of a few minutes. Plastisol starts as a milky white liquid similar in viscosity to water. As it is heated it begins to gel then thins out to a water clear liquid with the consistency of light syrup. Once the heated material cools it solidifies into what we are familiar with in soft plastic lures. We offer resins in both the liquid for and the heated solid form. Both are the same resin and will result in the same finished lures.
